“We’re less than 3 weeks away from oral arguments in Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission. On December 5th, ADF Senior Counsel Kristen Waggoner will stand before the United States Supreme Court to defend our client, cake artist Jack Phillips. In this landmark case for religious freedom, the Court will decide whether artists and other creative professionals are free to operate their businesses consistently with their faith.

The Court’s ruling could have lasting repercussions for all of us.”

Continue praying consistently and fervently for the successful passage of legislation that effectively protects our Judeo-Christian heritage and religious liberty. Also, pray that bills and resolutions that undermine our First Amendment Rights will be unsuccessful.

ME: Victory For School Employee

“In November 2017, less than six months after First Liberty and Eaton Peabody filed Toni’s EEOC complaint, the school district sent Toni an updated coaching memorandum. The school district withdrew any threats of disciplinary action against Toni and acknowledged the First Amendment rights of all school employees, including Toni, ‘to express religious beliefs or use faith-based language at school.’ Further, the updated coaching memorandum said comments such as ‘God Bless You’ or ‘I am praying for you’ are permissible when made to co-workers outside of the hearing of students.”

TN: Law Group Defends Man Who Reads The Bible
