The Congressional Prayer Caucus Foundation, Inc. is committed to
- Protecting the public expression of prayer and faith in God
- Communicating the constitutional truths that establish America’s freedom
- Sustaining and equipping leaders who believe in prayer and uphold Judeo-Christian principles
We are dedicated to:
- Establishing a network of ceaseless prayer, and initiating a Wall of Prayer around America.
- Working with legislators to create an architecture within federal and state governments to protect religious and individual freedom for future generations.
- Sustaining, supporting, and equipping existing and emerging leaders to live and lead with a Biblical worldview.
- Sparking an intellectual awakening regarding prayer and God’s role in America’s foundation and our future
Our Motivation
Imagine a post-religious America, an America that no longer advocates for religious freedom, an America that no longer trusts God. Sadly, this bias toward secularism and religious exclusion is rapidly becoming America’s reality.
The Court’s continued bias towards secularism – defined as the rejection or exclusion of religion or religious influence – and against Faith’s influence in public discourse creates a hostile environment for citizens that desire complete freedom of expression in regards to their faith’s role in public discourse and shaping public policy. Over time this bias has created an environment in public education where the historical facts regarding the role Christian Faith played in forming our Republic has been all but eliminated. The result being a generation deprived of the truth concerning the importance of Faith’s influence in the marketplace of ideas.
The concerted effort to expunge every vestige of God from government and the influence that the Christian Faith had on establishing the principles upon which our liberties were secured puts America at odds with God.
America is a nation where people of faith are free to pray and worship God in the public square, where churches and para-churches can thrive, a nation where church and state coalesce, where people of faith govern according to a Biblical worldview and resolve to maintain an offensive posture on religious and national issues.

In 2005, dozens of Members of Congress stood on the steps of our nation's Capitol and gave an historic call of prayer to America.
