The public is invited to join with their elected leaders for a one-time, historic event on January 20, 2016 at 10:00am on the North Steps of the State Capitol [Second Floor Lobby if bad weather].
Elected leaders and citizens from all over the state will gather at the State Capitol for three purposes: to support the formation of the official South Carolina Legislative Prayer Caucus, a bipartisan group of state legislators united to defend
America’s right to trust in God; to sign the Call to Prayer Proclamation; and to re-affirm our national motto, “In God We Trust.”
