Why is it important to keep God in America?

Our Constitution was built on the principles that our rights come from a Creator.

Attacks on faith across the country have been designed to separate our Creator from our rights. If they can convince us a Creator doesn’t exist or there is no nexus between us and our Creator – then what the state deems they give us, the state can take away.

The basis for which true freedom and democracy can stand in a nation is by a strong foundation built on Judeo-Christian principles. It is through the concepts derived from religion, including faith in our Creator and His moral standard, that create a structure for which freedom can thrive and a nation that God can bless.

Scripture to support this concept: “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.” – Ps.33: 12

Quotes from Presidents and Key Leaders:

“The rights of man come not from the generosity of the state but from the hands of God.” – JFK

“Without God there is a coarsening of the society – without God democracy will not and cannot long endure.” – Ronald Reagan

“Statesman can plan and speculate about liberty but it is only religion, faith, and morality that can birth the principles that can secure freedom.” – John Adams

“The Declaration of Independence has two propositions. The second one states that our rights come from Creator and I loan them to government who use them for me. The first one is that our rights come from Creator; therefor if they are given by Creator they cannot be taken away.” – Congressman Randy Forbes
