“Christian owners of a wedding filmmaking company have filed a lawsuit against Minnesota commissioner of human rights and attorney general to challenge state laws that compel them to produce videos of same-sex marriages against their religious beliefs.”

MN: Policy Forces All Religious Displays Be Removed

“The city of Belle Plaine, Minnesota, ended months of debate Monday by eliminating a free speech zone at Veterans Memorial Park, blocking a proposed satanic monument and forcing other religious displays to be removed.”

NC: Commissioners Still Deciding Whether To Appeal Case 

“After first being told by a court they could pray based on their faith – and then being told they couldn’t – commissioners in Rowan County, North Carolina, are considering whether to take their case to the Supreme Court…Rowan County commissioners have 90 days in which to decide whether to appeal the case to the U.S. Supreme Court. The case is Lund v. Rowan County.” Contact the Commissioners to let them know you stand with their right to pray in a public setting, and encourage them to appeal the case to the United States Supreme Court.

TN: Knoxville Police To Remove Sign With Bible Verse

TN: Mayor Defies Atheists’ Group’s Demands

“After receiving a complaint letter from a prominent atheist group, the mayor of a Tennessee county says he has no plans to remove a Bible verse inscription from his county’s courthouse and hopes instead to add an additional verse to the building’s walls.”

WI: School Agrees To Turn Off Faith-Based Radio

The Freedom From Religion Foundation has convinced a Wisconsin school district to turn off a Christian broadcasting station on a school bus.

From FFRF site: “Early in spring, FFRF sent a letter to the Stevens Point Area Public School District due to concerns over a bus driver who was incessantly playing devotional Christian music on a bus taking students to P.J. Jacobs Junior High School.”
