The audience did not remain “Silent”
December 22, 2009

Shortly after the children started rehearsals this fall for a “secular holiday program”, the Principal of the Oregon-based school scratched “Silent Night” from the program after a parent complained that the carol’s emphasis was “too single-religion.”

It is apparent that this is a reoccurring issue that people of faith are having to face. In this case, about 100 people from the audience sung in sweet worship to their Savior despite the attempt of others to squelch the acknowledgement of the true reason for the season – Jesus Christ. This is an example of the beautiful passion that is stirring within the hearts of people of faith world-wide; one that cannot be quenched.

Well done!
